COMPENSATION | $18-20/hour based on experience |
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a skilled meat cutter or butcher to help process and prepare our high-quality, pasture-raised meats. This is a hands-on position working with whole carcasses and sub-primals in a team-oriented, on-farm processing facility.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Breaking down whole carcasses (chicken, pork, beef)
- Producing retail and wholesale cuts
- Making value-added products (sausages, grinds, etc.)
- Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
- Labeling, packaging, and inventory tasks
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of professional meat cutting/butchery experience preferred
- Solid knife skills and understanding of meat anatomy
- Strong attention to detail and sanitation
- Comfortable working in cold environments
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet
- Interest in regenerative agriculture is a plus!
