Spring has Sprung, New chicks Arrive
On the morning of February 29th, we received our first shipment of new chicks! This is the soft start to our season, like the early blooming snow-drops or hellebores. Not a full start but the first signs of Spring and the start of the season. Opening day will happen on April 23rd when this flock will be processed and sent to the butchery.
