Our salami is made from pasture raised, heritage breed pork and seasoned to authentic perfection. That means it's packed full of nutrients and made with clean ingredients. As always, our meats are free from antibiotics and added hormones. The Five Salami Collection comes with all five of our incredible salami flavors, individually packaged in new resealable pouches for longer life.

Hickory Nut Gap values and respects the complex relationships between humans and nature, supplying 100% grass fed, grass-finished beef, and pasture raised, heritage breed pork to retailers, restaurants, and caring customers. All Hickory Nut Gap meats are humanely raised and never given antibiotics or added hormones.

SHIPPING DETAILS

Shipping Schedule 

  • We ship orders on Mondays and Tuesdays to avoid perishable items being delayed over the weekend. Most shipments arrive within 1–3 days of fulfillment. You’ll receive an email confirmation with tracking information once your order ships. 

Transit Times 

  • Because our products are frozen and perishable, we only allow packages to be in transit for up to 2 consecutive business days. Orders ship from Flat Rock, NC, and depending on your location, will be sent via Overnight, 2-Dayo or Ground service. 
  • Orders outside our ground network must be upgraded to express shipping to ensure safe arrival. 
  • Hickory Nut Gap ships only within the contiguous U.S. 
  • We are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes. Please verify your shipping address carefully at checkout. 

Shipping Providers 

  • We partner with UPS, FedEx, and USPS, selecting the most cost-effective option for each order. 

Fulfillment Times 

  • Orders are shipped within 5–7 business days of purchase. Shipping days are limited to Monday and Tuesday to help ensure safe delivery. 

Packaging & Freshness 

  • Each order is shipped in an insulated cooler with dry ice to ensure items remain frozen. 
  • Products may arrive partially thawed, especially in warm weather. As long as they are still cold to the touch, they are safe to refreeze. 
  • Please transfer items to the freezer or refrigerator immediately upon delivery. 
  • If any item arrives warm to the touch, please discard it and contact us. 

Dry Ice Handling 

  • To dispose of dry ice, place it in a well-ventilated area at room temperature. It will sublimate on its own. Do not place dry ice in trash bins or drains. 

Shipping Materials 

  • All shipping materials are recyclable with cardboard recycling.
